Wildlife Camps
Continue your child's learning and spark his or her love of nature with wildlife camps, offered every Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring break!

Camp times:
Full day 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. | Half day 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Extended drop off and pick up windows now available!

No Bones About It
$64 for 2 day session (Members $58)
June 6 - June 7
Guess what - Not all animals have bones like humans! In this "bone-tiful" camp, campers will learn about the special bones insects and invertebrates have that keep them alive.

Super Senses
$96 for 3 day session (Members $87)
June 8 - June 10
Taste, smell, see, hear, and feel during this camp all about super senses! In this wild camp, campers will learn about the super senses of animals and what it takes to survive in the wild.

Turtles in My Sandbox
$64 for 2 day session (Members $58)
June 13 - June 14
Fun fact: Not all turtles can pull their head into their shell! Over two days, campers will discover the differences between tortoises and turtles in this "turtle-y" amazing camp.

Shark Bites
$96 for 3 day session (Members $87)
June 15 - June 17
Chomp! Sharks have some serious bite! Dive into this "fin-tastic" camp and learn about the top fish in the sea - SHARKS! More than just jaws and teeth, campers will learn all about this amazing fish in this interactive camp.

Pacific Explorers

Get ready to explore the largest ocean in the world! In this exciting camp, campers will discover our local pacific animals and the ecosystem they call home. 

Flashy, Splashy Friends
$96 for 3 day session (Members $87)
June 22 - June 24
Vibrant and flashy! Some animals use color to attract attention and others use it as a warning sign. In this colorful camp, campers will learn about amazing animals and how flashy they can be!

Squiggly Snakes and Leapin' Lizards

June 27 - June 28
Come slither like snakes and lounge with lizards in this camp all about reptiles! For two days, campers will ramble with reptiles and get an inside look into their scaly world in this fantastic camp.

Radical Rays
$96 for 3 day session (Members $87)
June 29  - July 1
Ready for a radical ride with rays?! Come dive into this camp and relish adventure while learning about radical rays and their regal neighbors.

Surf the Seas

In this eco-friendly camp, campers will explore various avenues of conservation and learn how science is an important aspect to preserving nature. Venturing out to the beautiful San Diego Bay, campers will learn how they too can be conservation champions by interacting with amazing animals, seeing wild plants, and conducting awesome experiments!

7th - 9th Grade

Jr. Researcher
Regular Price: $295.00

9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Get ready to dive into science! Young scientists will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with technology ranging from fluorescent microscopes to secchi disks. Spending time at Scripps Institute for Oceanography and alongside researchers on a working scientific vessel, students will study plankton, microbes, and other small marine species.

This camp is operating in partnership with University of California, San Diego. In order to participate in this camp, campers must be fully vaccinated due to the UCSD policy. Vaccination cards will be checked upon arrival. Those that are not fully vaccinated prior to the start of camp, will be turned away.
